Designing a modern, professional identity for SJ Childs Global Network

In 2023, Sara Bradford started the non-profit SJ Childs Global Network to connect neurodivergent individuals, families, and service providers online and in local communities by hosting events to highlight and bring awareness to issues, educate, and create a feeling of belonging within the neurodivergent community and worldwide.
In addition to her non-profit, Sara writes children’s books under “SJ Childs.” Her first book, DJ the Bear, was published in 2019.

Sara's podcast, The SJ Childs Show, had been going strong since 2021, but Sara was getting more national and global attention. She needed a more polished, professional, modern look and feel to boost her image and create a cohesive brand to connect her projects.

The SJ Childs brand needed a facelift to present a cleaner, more modern, cohesive look and feel with an open and friendly aesthetic.
Widely accepted as the new icon for autism and its causes, the golden infinity symbol embodies the infinite and beautiful variations in neurodivergent people. Community members felt the puzzle piece icons gave the impression that autistic individuals needed to “fit” or that something was missing.
